COVID-19 was not what I had in mind when it came to Spring 2020. I had a whole different version of what my spring would entail. The funny thing is that I was wishing for more time at home, ha ha, I got what I wished for. Everything is all about finding balance. What worked the day before will not work the next day and becoming more flexible of what you spend the most time with. Some days will require more time spent with kids that need help with homework or more cuddle time and morning snuggles with my little guy. Email/text/phone calls/ whats app notifications can wait a few minutes as you watch your little one jump because that is his new skill he learned. Trying to cram as much work or house work during nap time is what I look forward too. Cooking more meals at home and getting tired of my own cooking and just craving something else food. Finding time to craft is what helps sooth my soul and gives me that bit of peace I need while I am missing my freedom of random visits and worry free hugs.
I need to be thankful and grateful for the steps we have taken as a village to protect us as a whole. Stay safe, try to remember to stay 6’ a way from non-household members, be kind, wash your hands, together alone we can do this.
